My husband immediately pulled his iPhone and said, "Let me take your picture!"

They were using Twilleys Freedom wool, smoke blue shade (discontinued).

I'm so happy and I just can't hide it! I finished the Dunstan vest. And my hubby loved it.

I washed it (handwash, of course!!!) and will post it here when it's dry. My husband took a picture of it, but you won't see much of it as Arthur was lying flat on it! Oh boy... He's been crazy about my wool lately. He licks it and then gnaws it. I have to keep an eye on my knitting all the time. When it's not the wool, it's my hair, when I'm sleeping - but I kinda like this part. I was reading about cat behaviour on the Internet and they say it's a way of saying I'm his. And you know what? I am!

Eu lavei (à mão, é claro!!!) e vou postar quando estiver seco. Meu marido tirou uma foto dele, mas vcs não vão conseguir ver muita coisa porque Arthur estava estirado em cima do colete! Que menino... Ele anda doido pelas minhas lãs ultimamente. Ele lambe e depois mastiga. Tenho de ficar de olho no meu tricô o tempo todo. Quando não é a lã é o meu cabelo quando estou dormindo - mas eu até que gosto dessa parte. Estava lendo sobre o comportamento dos gatos na Internet e eles dizem que é uma maneira de mostrar que eu sou dele. E sabe do que mais? Eu sou!

I'm back! I've been so focused on my work that I haven't had much time to post or knit/crochet. Here's an update on my hubby's Dunstan vest. There seems to be a mistake in the pattern... I had to unpick the left side. But it's ok now.

As you can see, Arthur is helping me a lot! The other day he chewed the yarn and broke it. I was in the middle of a row and had to start it again... Naughty! He chews everything - bags, sticks, rubber, metal, knitting needles, yarn balls, etc - because his teeth are growing. I hope he stops doing this when he becomes an adult...

I love him anyway!!!

I've started knitting a new vest for my husband. This time I am following a pattern by Sarah Hatton, which can be found in the lastest issue of The Knitter. Instead of using Rowan Baby Alpaca DK (Cheviot), I am using Patons Merino Wool DK (Muffin). It's a gorgeous yarn and the colour is great.

Hi everyone, I've just finished my swirling gauntlets. They look great and I'm so gonna make another pair! The pattern is free at Ravelry.
